It’s the year 2022 and a lot has changed since the days of Harry Potter.
Technology has arrived in the magical world, the Weasley family has pulled
off a Cinderella rags to riches story and developed magical vehicles and
Hogwarts is now offering a University for a mix of classroom and field work
in highly specialized fields.
With the good comes the bad, or so it goes. On 1st September 2021 multiple cities around the world where muggle and magical people have lived in harmony were targeted in brutal murders that were both live streamed and played over TV stations simultaneously, murders that were blatantly magical, and on 1st January 2022 magical and muggle officials were murdered live including the retired former Minister for Magic. There have also been other attacks taking place throughout the magical world over the last few months. The group, who call themselves The Enlightened, have erased a lifetime of work at hiding magic and made muggles lapse into fear. Chaos is spreading as everyone asks the questions. Who is among the Enlightened? Is it the guy in the office next to you? Your best friend? Is it you? Or are you seeking to catch the wrongdoers? Or are you simply trying to stay alive and safe? A wise old man once said happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light. With that I only say: Lumos.
