Mean Girls

Grace and these four girls grew up together along with one other girl although the latter is now in Azkaban. The six of them were best friends from early childhood with Grace easily falling into the role of their leader even when other kids in the neighbourhood kept their distance from Grace up to just before they were due to start at Hogwarts and all of them knew that Grace was a vampire and didn’t really care. It never stopped them being her friends and it should have stayed that way but suddenly their views of her changed overnight and ever since then they have tried to make her life hell. Whether their parents got together and told them all that they had to cut her loose, whether they decided they didn’t want to be associated when they got to Hogwarts or whether their memories were modified and they were made to think of her as their enemy rather than their friend is completely open.

For the last six years they have been calling her names, saying that she is a cosmic mistake because she was born a vampire and so on but it never resorted to violence until recently. Desperate to join their group, the leader had BAILEY ROSE CARROW steal Grace’s daylight amulet from around her neck while she was outside on a sunny day and Grace almost died while most if not all of the girls below watched and laughed. The leader and at least two of the other girls was expelled from Hogwarts. The leader was the mastermind behind it all and she was the one who had Bailey take the necklace. She wasn't just expelled, she was charged with attempted murder which resulted in her getting a one way ticket to Azkaban. At least two of the other girls were expelled and could join with Phoebe Wilcox (see the ad I posted with CARLY RICHELLE CARTER) creating a group for kids of members of the Enlightened who can cause their own brand of chaos.

This girl became the second in command after they abandoned Grace and she has been one of the worst for giving Grace a hard time. She and the girl who ended up in Azkaban were the two that Grace was always closest to when they were kids so it was their betrayal that hurt the worst and to this day Grace doesn’t know why she or the other girls turned on her. This girl knew the damage that taking the necklace would do to Grace and that it would kill her if she didn’t manage to get inside quickly enough but the girl encouraged the leader to do it anyway and she was expelled without hesitation. Whether she is now homeschooled, has a magical tutor or now goes to another school is open.

This girl was almost as awful to Grace as the other two. She would always find new inventive ways to make Grace’s life hell and she was in on the plan to try and kill Grace even if the last two weren’t. She also egged the ring leader on and was expelled along with her.

This girl is perhaps the one who has been most sympathetic towards Grace and perhaps tried to get the others to stop giving her such a hard time. She has a conscience but whether or not she decided to act on it is open. Alternatively, she could have been just as bad as the others if preferred. If she stays at Hogwarts then I would love to see her and Grace get back to being friends.
