This is Ben’s younger sister and the only family he has left in the world. Their dad’s parents died before either of them was born and their mum’s family cut her off when she married their dad. Ben was two when Lana was born and he would often become annoyed with her at first since she took their parents’ attention when they were trying to spend time with him but after she fell ill shortly before her second birthday the doctors weren’t sure she would make it and Ben made a wish that she would pull through. It took months for her to recover but he has been looking out for her ever since and doesn’t mind at all when she wants to hang out with him, even if he is with his friends. These two are best friends and have been since then. Their dad was an Auror who was severely wounded on the job when Ben was seven and Lana was five. She was too young to understand what was going on so their mum stayed outside with her while Ben went into their dad’s hospital room alone and he was with him when he died. Their mum struggled to support them after that and when Ben went to Hogwarts, Lana was often left alone or had to stay with friends while their mum worked.

At Christmas during the current school year, both Ben and Lana wanted to return home and spend it with their mum but she refused. She claimed she was going to be busy working but she was trying to protect them because the muggles in the village they lived in were getting suspicious that she was a witch. Their mum was killed by those same muggles very recently and now Ben and Lana are all each other has left. They were taken back to their house with a Ministry escort so they could pack their things and unless they are fostered or adopted, they’ll end up in the group home close to Hogwarts at the start of summer.

Full details can be found in his app but I would love to have her around She is a third year (her birthday will need to be between June and 31 August since Ben was already two when she was born) and her house is open but I really don’t see her as a Slytherin. Her celeb can be changed if wanted but please run it by me first!
