After the explosive evening a few days ago and the decision to get away for the weekend starting on Friday night Elaine had been more than glad that the weekend was upon them now, though it wasn't as if she'd kept her distance from Harvey in that time. Oh no, each night she found her way into his bed, and they put silencing charms up and repeated the events of the Astronomy tower with a little more care and less vigor and each day she teased him that she was looking forward to the weekend where she wouldn't have to hold back as they lay in the afterglow before she'd slip out in the morning before most students rose. Usually it was to take herself back to bed, because she was still not an early riser, and she'd nearly been late for Defence and Charms classes as a result, and had been late to Duelling, but the lessons taught by the actual headmasters of the school she tried to not be late, or at least to one but not both of their lessons. It wasn't as if she'd had any regrets though, not when it concerned Harvey and the amazing nights she'd had with him lately that'd not exactly changed her mood completely but there were more pauses before her snarky comments to think about if it was worth a potential detention this weekend that she'd end up getting yet another detention for when she blew it off for the promised nights with Harvey and time away from the bloody castle and all this news of the Enlightened travelling at lightning speed that she cared nothing about. She'd had to stop herself from cursing three different people who thought it was a great idea to mention that Elaine was probably amongst the people the Ministry was looking for, and it hadn't been her that stopped her but Cory who was nearby after their usual duelling session together who'd caught her arm as her wand raised and told her it wasn't worth it. She'd ended up sending the idiot a little revenge hex later over breakfast but her spell work was silent and wand still that she'd been accused but nothing could be proved though she'd caught Cory's amused head shake when she caught his eye on the way out of the Great Hall for breakfast that morning before lessons. Lessons that she paid much less attention in as she watched the clock and phone more teasing Harvey with texts most of the afternoon she wasn't sure they'd make it to the hotel they'd arrange to make their own before he pounced on her.
Finally the time to go was upon them and they moved away from Hogwarts, skipping the auror who'd offered to escort them with a wave of her hand and into a spot of secluded trees before bringing Harvey closer to her by his shirt and kissing him with all the passion she could muster, dropping her packed bag without a care to its contents before letting his shirt go and stepping back, breathless, "Was close to just saying screw the room and starting right here." She teased as she stepped back picked up her bag and threw it over her shoulder and grabbed the random piece of junk she'd picked for the portkey and casting the spell to change it into the portkey before touching it and then linking her arm around Harvey as he touched it and it hooked them up and deposited them on the ground in the destination she'd sent them to, wishing she could just apparate already as she landed on a heap with Harvey on top of it, "This is a welcome position," she'd teased and kissed him before they lumbered to their feet and walked the short distance to their actual destination of the hotel they'd picked in London, close enough if they wanted to do things they could but nice enough they didn't have to leave the room for anything including food if they preferred to do nothing but each other the whole weekend, and her opinion on which way the weekend was going to go was leaning towards the latter thought so far. She used her haughty attitude to breeze through the check-in all while trying to resist the urge to tear off Harvey's clothes as they took the elevator up to their room and letting him lead the way to the room and unlock the door so she could stare at his perfect behind before leaping up on his back with a laugh when they were close to their room, "Think you can carry me the rest of the way?" She challenged teasingly wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck loosely resting her chin on his shoulder innocently enough. She was already letting the stress of the first month back at school melt away and focusing all her thoughts of Harvey and the room they'd have to themselves for the weekend, not that it was too hard to imagine them together, she had plenty to work with over the last few days to keep her imagination busy.
