Say hello to the Maxwell family. Sara is the matriarch of the family and is a half blood witch while the kids’ father, John, was a half blood wizard although he died when Seth was in his sixth year at Hogwarts. Growing up the age gap made Seth’s siblings not want him around too much even though Seth always looked up to them and wanted to be like them. He would get his own back for them ignoring him or teasing him by playing pranks on them which didn’t always go down too well. Both Sara and John went into the medical field by becoming Healers at St Mungo’s and it was clear that they wanted all of their children to follow in their footsteps. The three eldest children were given a tutor who would help them get ahead in their studies before they even started at Hogwarts and would start teaching them about medicine. Seth also had a tutor once he was old enough. All three of Seth’s siblings were sorted into Ravenclaw like both of their parents while he, always the black sheep, was sorted into Gryffindor. It got to a point where Seth hated being at home with his family because his siblings were always happy to go along with everything that their parents wanted for them while Seth constantly rebelled.

Seth met the love of his life Chantal during his second year and they stayed together all throughout their time at Hogwarts but grew apart after graduation and ended up breaking up. Seth decided not to start working at St Mungo’s as a Healer like his mum and siblings, instead he decided to become a Doctor at Hogwarts. He tried to make it work but it made him miserable and eventually he decided that it just wasn’t for him. He was able to do the job but his heart wasn’t in it and after losing Chantal he decided it was time for a change. He dropped out of the training programme at Hogwarts and his family pretty much disowned him after that. Instead he managed to become an Auror and he reunited with Chantal at their friend’s wedding. Seth tried to reach out to the family a few times but they didn’t respond, not even when he sent them an invitation to his own wedding although they thought about it. It was when Seth told them that he was going to be a father that they finally started talking to him again and things got better after they met his son Luca for the first time. They attended his wedding a few months ago and now they are trying to fix things.

This is Seth’s older brother and he has always been able to do no wrong in the eyes of their parents. He was popular and did well in his classes while he was at Hogwarts and he joined his house’s quidditch team. After graduation he went on to become a Healer at St Mungo’s like his parents wanted him to.
