After a long day of Quidditch lessons, Noah wanted nothing more than to go upstairs and collapse in bed. His shift at the Three Broomsticks started in two hours, so technically there was time to take a nap. Noah didn’t like naps, though. He preferred to sleep for more than just an hour at a time. He had a habit of staying up late, which didn’t help his current situation. Maybe in the future he’d learn to get a better sleep schedule, but for now he was alright with sleeping long into the morning and waking up around 11 or noon.
As he entered into the common room, he glanced around. His little siblings were no where to be seen, but he could spot plenty of familiar faces. He was feeling a bit antisocial today and didn’t want to hang out with any of them. His stomach growled and he decided to go grab a snack. He turned right around and left the common room.
It wasn’t a long walk to the Kitchens, but his mind wandered nonetheless. He was not looking forward to his shift tonight, but once it was over he would get to play video games with his roommate, which was always fun. Maybe he should practice his guitar playing too. It had been a while since he’d played. Even if he didn’t want to make a career out of music, it was a good hobby to keep up.
When he tickled the pear and the picture swung aside to reveal the kitchen, he wasn’t surprised to see his little sister. “How did I know you’d be here?” he asked with a smirk. He knew how much his Charlie loved the kitchen, and even if he hadn’t been looking for her here a small part of him had expected to see her. “Making anything good?” he asked.
